Choosing an LED wall: four questions
| Question | Why it matters | Rule of thumb |
|---|---|---|
| How far away is the audience? | Decides the pixel pitch (the gap between pixels). | The closer people stand, the finer the pitch. Indoor stages and booths use fine pitches; large outdoor screens use coarser ones. |
| Indoor or outdoor? | Daylight needs much brighter, weather-rated panels. | Outdoor walls need far higher brightness than indoor ones. |
| What will play on it? | Content resolution and aspect ratio should match the wall. | Design content for the wall’s exact pixel size, not for 16:9 by default. |
| How will it stand? | Ground-stacked or flown from truss; affects safety and the venue’s approval. | Flown walls need rigging points and venue approval in advance. |
We size the wall from the furthest viewer and the content, then check weight, power and mounting against the venue’s rules.
LED in exhibition booths
On a stand, an LED wall is part of the structure. We plan its frame, power and cooling with the booth fabrication, so the screen sits flush and the cables disappear. On busy show floors, a well-placed LED wall is what visitors see from the aisle.
What is included
- LED panels sized to your wall
- Processor and playback
- Mounting: ground stack or truss
- Power distribution from the venue supply
- Setup, testing and a technician during the event
- Take-down after the show
LED questions
What size LED wall do I need?
It depends on the room and the audience distance. Send the floor plan and audience size in the AVL form, and we propose a size and layout.
Can you supply LED walls for outdoor events?
Yes, using outdoor-rated panels with the brightness daylight needs.
Can you make the content too?
We prepare playback and can adapt your content to the wall’s resolution. Original content production is quoted separately.
