SCEGA lists separate licences for trade exhibitions (معرض تجاري), product showcase exhibitions (معرض تعريفي لمنتج), consumer goods exhibitions (معرض سلع استهلاكية), which can be in temporary or permanent facilities, and charity exhibitions (معرض خيري). SCEGA publishes rules and procedures for these exhibition types.

What to plan early
- Timeline. Confirm SCEGA’s current submission period for your exhibition type before you sell space.
- Venue. Exhibition venues are accredited by SCEGA separately. Choose one that fits the format and the expected visitors.
- Floor plan and exhibitors. Expect to describe the layout, the categories of exhibitors and the visitor profile.
- Operations. Larger events may need security, health or traffic arrangements; the National Events Center’s Enjz platform (أنجز) helps organizers coordinate permits across entities.

Do I need a licence for a product launch with a display?
It depends on the format. A brand showcasing its own products may fall under the product showcase exhibition type. Share the plan and we check it.
